Victorinox recently announced a firefighter inspired special edition I.N.O.X. watch and box set limited to 1,200 numbered pieces.

The I.N.O.X. Carbon Limited Edition is housed in a 43 mm diameter case that’s made from a carbon composite, a material that the manufacturer points out is “space-tested” and highly resistant to scratches, and can also be found in the space industry protecting shuttles from high reentry temperatures.

Not to mention, the I.N.O.X. watches go through 130 extreme endurance tests, and are 200 meters water-resistant, meaning this is a very durable watch made for professional use, such as for a firefighter, in theory at least.

The watch features a battery-powered quartz movement, and displays hours, minutes, central seconds, and the date. The seconds hand features a firefighter “chevron” in the form of red and yellow stripes.

Each set comes with a red Pelican box, a neon yellow Rescue Tool (which can also be purchased separately), a reflective neon yellow handwoven survival paracord keychain and strap, as well as a black strap made from the same leather as firefighter boots. Additionally, there’s a red and yellow textile folder for the Rescue Tool and an extra watch bumper case.

The watch set is available online now, and at Macy’s beginning on May 15, 2019. (Ref. 241858.1) Retail is $995.
