Glashütte-based watchmaker, Tutima, added four new styles to their Grand Flieger Airport series today — now featuring a ceramic bezel and a textile strap.

The Grand Flieger Airport models are available in 43 mm diameter stainless steel cases and come with either a military green or classic blue dial — and a faded dégradé finish —  color-matched to the scratch-proof ceramic insert, which is set within the bidirectional rotating steel bezel.

Durable Cordura textile material that matches the color of the dial and bezel is used for the models with a strap, secured with a steel deployant clasp (steel bracelets are also available for all four references).

Based on Tutima’s pilot’s chronograph from the 1940s, these Flieger watches are reliable, precise, and offer optimal legibility. Large white luminous baton-shaped indices, prominent luminous hour and minute hands, and red chronograph hands, plus the day/date, are easy to read as is the requirement for a Flieger watch.

Tutima Grand Flieger Airport Automatic

Each watch is powered by outsourced Tutima automatic caliber 330 or caliber 310 respectively. Sapphire crystals front and back, a screw-down crown, and multiple gaskets protect the watch from water down to a rated 200 meters.

The three-hand versions are $2,500 on a textile strap or $2,900 on a steel bracelet. The chronographs are $3,900 on a textile strap and $4,300 on a steel bracelet.
