F.P. Journe is has a created a unique Tourbillon Souverain Bleu watch specially for the Only Watch auction coming up in November.

This is the first time ever that a tourbillon is made with a case completely crafted from tantulum. Tantulum is very difficult to work with, however it has a beautiful blue hue that gives it its appeal, and makes it worth the extra effort. The blue chrome dial compliments the color theme and creates a perfect contrast with tourbillon aperture where the 18K rose gold movement is peaking out.

The movement is manually wound and features Journe’s tourbillon with remontoire (constant force device) and a dead beat seconds function. It is also finished to perfection with circular stripes on the bridges, Geneva waves on baseplate, polished screw heads and bevelled pegs with polished rounded ends.
