The G-Shock Full Metal 5000 is now available with a black resin strap for $400. For comparison, the standard model with a stainless steel bracelet, which we reviewed, is $500. Although the watch maintains the original case shape and dimensions (43.2 mm X 49.3 mm and 13 mm), the weight compared to the metal bracelet versions is 96.7 versus 170.6 grams, so there is a considerable weight saving, in addition to costing $100 less.

The G-Shock Full Metal 5000 Ref. GMWB5000-1 is now available for purchase at standard G-SHOCK retailers including Macy’s, the G-Shock SoHo Store, and gshock.com.
