TAG Heuer recently announced a newly redesigned Aquaracer 500 collection. Presented in a 41 mm stainless steel case, the new Aquaracer has a new unidirectional ceramic dive bezel. Ceramic is lighter and more scratch resistant than steel or aluminum.

The Aquaracer 500M Ceramic is powered by a self-winding Calibre 5 movement. The crystal is sapphire with an anti-reflective coating. The crown and case back are screwed-in. A helium escape valve, located at 10 o’clock, allows helium to safely escape the case when saturation diving. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds and date. Luminous sword hour and minute hands; and luminous hour markers. Water-resistance is 500 meters (1,640 feet).

The Aquaracer is available on rubber or steel strap. Variations include: blue dial/steel & yellow gold plated bracelet, all black dial/case/bezel, blue dial/blue ceramic bezel.
