This weekend, Oliver Smith Jeweler is opening a new boutique in Aspen, Colorado focused on certified-pre-owned timepieces as well as Oliver Smith Jewelry designs.

After operating a store in Scottsdale, Arizona since 1981, the family-owned watch and jewelry retailer bought the Aspen Panerai boutique in 2018 (which originally opened in 2014). Beginning on July 4th, Oliver Smith Jeweler debuts its latest store which will carry a curated selection of pre-owned watches that have been certified by the company’s master watchmaker, along with one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces.

Each season will feature a new watch collection and to begin the focus will be on what the company refers to as the “Iconic Sports Model Collection.” Some of the notable watches available for sale at launch are a Rolex Daytona Ref. 6239, a Patek Philippe Ref. 5167/A, a Panerai Marina Militare Ref. PAM 202A, as well as various collectible stainless steel watches from Audemars Piguet, Omega, Officine Panerai, and Rolex.

Oliver Smith’s daughter, Elizabeth Smith — who currently manages the Aspen Panerai boutique — will take on a dual role and manage the new store as well. Oliver Smith Jeweler Aspen is located at 400 E. Hyman Avenue on the second floor of the historic Tom Thumb building (directly above Panerai).
