On the occasion of US-based lifestyle clothing retailer Kith’s 10th anniversary, they’ve partnered with G-Shock for a third time — to create a memorable limited edition watch.

The Kith x G-Shock GM-6900 Rainbow comes in the classic GM-6900 resin case — and the same style as the John Mayer collab from 2020 — that was first introduced in 1995 and measures 49.7 mm × 18.6 mm. A forged metal bezel with an iridescent rainbow finish — that went through over ten rounds of sampling to achieve this unique color gradation — distinguishes this from the plethora of GM-6900 models in Casio’s vast archive.

As with all GM-6900 references, the dial is protected by a mineral crystal, the watch is 200-meters water-resistant, and G-Shock’s renowned shock resistance is of course standard. The functions include, hours, minutes, seconds, am/pm indicator, month, date, and day. There’s also a 1/100 second stopwatchcountdown timer, multifunction alarm, and hourly time signal. G-Shock’s electro-luminescent backlight button features the “KITH” logo in relief. As with the most recent collaboration between Kith and G-Shock, when you press the light button “Just Us” appears, which is a term Kith is known for.
