The Edifice EQW-A1000DC-1A is the flagship of the Edifice Black Label collection. It features a dual-layer chronograph that utilizes Casio’s Smart Access technology, which allows for more sensitive operation of multiple functions by combining independent hand movement, made possible by the new 5-motor layout, with electronic crown-controlled switching.

Made from is stainless steel with a scratch-resistant black IP treatment the case is highlighted by an anodized aluminum bezel. The strap is steel with black IP treatment. Flat sapphire crystal. Water-resistance is 100 meters. A quartz movement with Tough Solar Power (self-charging) and 6 Band Atomic timekeeping (self-adjusting) power and regulate, respectively, the timepiece’s many functions.

The main functions are controlled by a proprietary electronic crown that allows for simple operation. Functions include analog hours, minutes, seconds, world time (29 cities + UTC), alarm, countdown timer, full auto-calendar and 1/20th second chronograph (controlled by push buttons at 2 and 4 o’clock).

This is the newest and most technologically advanced timepiece in the Edifice lineup. An equally good option whether in the boardroom or on the street. It will be available this summer at Tourneau, Nordstrom and select Macy’s and fine jewelers.

Retail is $750.
