Earlier this week, LVMH-owned Swiss watchmaker Hublot announced a collaborative special edition timepiece with the Watches of Switzerland Group.

Connecting via Zoom, the watch was digitally launched in the UK and US simultaneously by executives from both Hublot and Watches of Switzerland.

The Classic Aerofusion Chronograph “Watches of Switzerland Group” Special Edition is presented in a 45 mm x 13.4 mm black ceramic Classic Fusion case that’s been polished and satin-finished.

As part of the partnership with Hublot and Watches of Switzerland, red accents are used for the chapter ring, chronograph seconds hand, to accent the subdials, for the thread on the strap, and on the caseback.

A Swiss-made 4Hz automatic skeletonized “Aerofusion” chronograph based on an outsourced caliber design drives the hours, minutes, seconds, date, and chronograph functions. The movement has 207 components (60 jewels) and a 42-hour power reserve.

Each watch comes with a black alligator strap with has red contrast stitching and is lined with rubber for comfort and durability, secured by a black PVD deployant clasp. Water-resistance is rated to 50 meters. “THE WATCHES OF SWITZERLAND GROUP” is printed in red across the sapphire caseback. (Ref. 525.CM.0173.LR.AUM20)

The watch will be available exclusively from The Watches of Switzerland Group’s showrooms in the UK and US. The UK is being allocated 75 pieces and the US will receive 25.

Retail is $17,700. Learn more at Watches of Switzerland.
