Breitling first partnered with Bentley in 2002, when Bentley commissioned Breitling to create an onboard clock, which made its debut in 2003. This collaboration has been ongoing for the better part of two decades — it’s the longest-running automobile and watchmaker partnership — and there are no signs that it will slow down anytime soon.
Introducing the 2020 Breitling Premier Bentley Mulliner Limited Edition — launched today alongside the 2020 Bentley Continental GT Mulliner Convertible — features a Breitling dash clock similar to what was commissioned by Bentley when the Swiss and British companies first collaborated together. Interestingly, this particular clock — located just above the gear shifter on the car’s console — has Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, while the watch has them at 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, and 11. This design element ties the two timepieces together. Further, the bright red and blue color scheme of the watch dial and strap — are matched to the imperial blue leather of the car, as well as it’s red stitching.
Presented in a 42 mm x 13.65 mm stainless steel case, with a silver dial and contrasting blue counters — this 1,000 piece limited edition Breitling Bentley timepiece shares the dimensions with the regular production Premier collection, as well as the special edition Premier made in partnership with Norton. And naturally, the movement is also a caliber B01 in-house automatic chronograph running at 4Hz, with a column-wheel, vertical clutch, a 70-hour power reserve, and 346 total components.
The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal, the crown is the push-in variety, protected with two gaskets, and the caseback is screwed-in and has a sapphire opening to view the movement. Water-resistance is rated to 100 meters.

The retail price is $8,650 on a crocodile strap with a folding deployment clasp and $8,350 on a crocodile strap with a tang-type buckle.
