Expanding on the all-new BR 05 collection that debuted in 2019, this year Bell & Ross introduced a new skeletonized version.

Presented in a 40 mm diameter square-shaped stainless steel case — with an integrated bracelet or strap — the BR 05 Skeleton Blue features a blue-tinted transparent sapphire dial that reveals the gears and components of the mechanical watch movement underneath.

On top of the sapphire dial are long applied baton-shaped indices that match the hour and minute hands, all of which are filled with luminous material. A baton-shaped seconds hand sweeps the dial and has a counterweight that matches the hands and indices.

A flat beveled edge sapphire crystal protrudes just above the plane of the fixed stainless steel bezel and protects the dial. Four screws secure the bezel to the case middle. Prominent guards, which are secured by two screws, protect the crown which handles just the winding and time-setting as this watch has no-date function.

The case and bracelet are finished with alternating vertical brushing and polished accents. On the back is a sapphire crystal that offers a further view of the movement including the blue-coated automatic oscillating weight. The Bell & Ross logo has been metalized on the sapphire caseback. Water-resistance is 100 meters.
