Pocket Watch Tri-axial JH01, First HD3 Sculpture designed by Jorg Hysek

This incredible new object has been conceived like a piece of art, a sculpture presented in a mysterious pedestal, in which the pocket watch is hidden, and only its heartbeat can be heard through the wood of the instrument maker (originated from Vallée de Joux), which is well known because it amplifies the resonance naturally , just like a music instrument does. A single push with the thumb on the fingerprint drive and it recognizes its proprietary. The watch will then come out very slowly from its hiding place, in order to be discovered and appreciated.

The pocket watch has an extraordinary tri-axial tourbillon, a very special movement especially developed by HD3 Complication. The first rotation is the one of the tourbillon on its own axis; on a different axis, the second rotation allows the reading of the seconds; the whole movement is the third rotation, moving on the third axis and allowing the reading of the minutes. Finally the reading of the hours is done on an independent disc.

Chopard recently held a Charity luncheon to commemorate the upcoming Singapore F1 Night Race. Their innovative new tourbillon, the L.U.C. Tourbillon Tech Twist, was offered for sale by silent auction during this luncheon. All the proceeds will go to charity.

This piece is one-of-a-kind and features a 42mm white gold case that houses the Calibre 4TBST (Quattro Tourbillon Black Superlight Twist) movement. The manufacture movement features an ultra-light silicon escapement along with a sporty black PVD coated mainplate and bridges.

I like the collaboration between Cvstos and Pagani. The end result is a very pleasing design. The Cvstos Pagani Zonda F Chrono is made of a high grade 5 titanium with double sapphire dials. The crown and push pieces feature the same design theme as the car. The rotor was made to replicate the wheel of a Pagani roadster, and of course, is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. A leather strap provides the finishing touch for this ultra sporty timepiece.

In collaboration with Pininfarina, Girard-Perregaux has combined the excellence of a timepiece with an extraordinary motor car, personalizing one of its complication watches - the Vintage 1945 Tourbillon with gold bridge - and incorporating it in a unique Rolls Royce Hyperion, unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours this week-end.

This detachable timepiece not only fit in the vehicle's dashboard, but can also adorn the wrist of its owner. Thanks to a sophisticated system of spring balls, it can be easily extracted from its alligator strap and clipped onto the dashboard. WYLER GENÈVE TANTALIZES WITH A NEW LIMITED-EDITION CHRONOGRAPH

In Wyler Genève's latest limited-edition chronopgraph, the precious metal tantalum is used to make a new ultra-resistant body for the brand's shock-absorbing case. In keeping with tantalum's rarity as a metal, only 88 models of this chronograph will be made available worldwide.

For his misdeeds in Greek mythology, the god Tantalus was condemned to stand knee-deep in water with fresh fruit hanging over his head. Whenever he stooped to drink the water, it would recede out of reach; whenever he reached to grab the fruit, the branches would always be beyond his grasp. This analogy spawned the verb "to tantalise", referring to any attempt to tease someone with something desirable whilst keeping it out of their reach. The derivation also proved apt for the metal discovered in 1802 by Swedish chemist Anders Ekeberg that resists corrosion by acids (even, notably, the aqua regia that can dissolve gold and platinum). This is one of the two special edition watches created to celebrate Ebel's partnerships with two major world soccer organizations: FC Arsenal and FC Bayern Munich. The version shown above is the Bayern Munich edition, of which there are only 250 available worldwide. Both special editions have Ebel Caliber 245 automatic chronograph movements with 45-minute period displays, with an overtime feature. The movement's oscillating weight is football shaped and each watch comes personalized with the corresponding club logo and edition number. There is even a counter for number of periods. Oh and this is not your standard Ebel case, they maxed this one out to 48.5 mm. The case and folding buckle both have a black treatment and the strap is a black technofiber.

The Ebel 1911 Tekton Limited Edition Bayern Munich retails for $12,900.

The Gérald Genta Arena QP GMT features a (45 mm x 13.9 mm) titanium case topped with a platinum bezel. The contrast of the brilliant platinum and matte titanium looks really good in person. At first glance, this watch looks a lot like a chronograph, but there are actually four subdials that display the GMT and perpetual calendar functions. These subdials are part of the sophisticated multi-layered dial, that consists of black and silver brass and a perforated red base. If you take a closer look at the perforations in the dial, you will see parts of the exclusive Gérald Genta Potter finished movement. On the back, the Automatic Caliber GG7044 movement and solid gold rotor are visible through the sapphire caseback.

There are two versions available (titanium/platinum) $71,600 and (white gold/platinum) $92,050, a red alligator skin band with folding clasp comes with both versions.

Omega was the first Official Timekeeper of the Olympics, starting in 1932. The XXIX Beijing Olympic Games mark the 23rd time Omega has been the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games, more than any other company.

To celebrate their Olympic partnership Omega introduced the world's first mechanical watch with 5-counters on the dial, and fittingly arranged the five counters to form the Olympic rings. The Limited Edition Speedmaster 5-Counters Chronographs have 5 subdials, each with their specific function:

Each chronograph has the Olympic rings symbol, the Omega name and logo and the inscription "Official Timekeeper" stamped on the case back. A box-form, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides was used for the dial. The exclusive Calibre 3888 movement with Omega's Co-Axial Escapement was used to assure extreme accuracy and reliability. Every watch has been individually tested, and chronometer certified by the COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres).

Eberhard & Co. has created a black version of the original Chrono Traversetolo, that debuted last year. The 43 mm case is made of steel and finished with a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) treatment, that not only gives the watch a dark look, it also makes the case much more scratch resistant. For this limited edition model Eberhard has paired a black dial with contrasting red accents- on the tachymeter numerals, counters, seconds hand and small date window. The movement is a Valjoux 7750, with a 48-hour power reserve. A see-through caseback shows off the circular grain Côtes de Genève decoration and the 18K gold Eberhard 'E' emblem on the rotor.

On special request of a ship owner, the designers created the HD33, a model inspired from the naval world and strictly limited to 33 pieces only, all of them reserved for the owner who will offer them as present to the guests invited onboard.

The contract has been signed between Jorg Hysek Junior and the ship owner during this sunny weekend on board of one of the yacht at the Cote d'Azur.

This beautiful designer watch represents the strength of the brand, a subtle bond between fine watch making and avant-garde technology. The nautical reference is also reflected in the blocking system of the crown, while the original sliding top, allows to discover alternatively the time zone or the engine's heart of this new HD3 timepiece.

This watch looks like a sportier version of the HD3 Vulcania, without the bi-axial tourbillon.

Hublot's campaign within the scope of Euro 2008 was a runaway success; its partnership deal with the Spanish football team signed at the beginning of June is all the more successful in the light of Spain's victory last Sunday.

Following its debut in the world of football with the Swiss team, then its engagement as the "official watch" of Euro 2008, Hublot linked up with the Mexican Football Federation and latterly with the Spanish team, now winner of the title! We like to think that the watch we created for the Spanish Federation brought them luck.

Audemars Piguet debuted their new Royal Oak Carbon Concept at the SIHH show, in Geneva, this past April. Unfortunately no info was released as far availability, but they did just release this video on the AP website. This is the first watch equipped with both case and movement in carbon. Porsche Design has designated a collection of products, including the "60 Years of Porsche" Classic Chronograph, in honor of the brand's anniversary. The timepiece features a date display, split-time measurement facility, tachymeter for measuring speed, luminous hour and minute hands, and a stainless steel casing. Only 600 are being produced.

Check out this very special Panerai Luminor Marina, a Left Handed Limited Edition PVD version. The 44mm case is PVD treated stainless steel and features the manual hand winding crown on the left side of the case. Panerai used a 3.2 mm curved anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The dial features a small seconds subdial at 3 o'clock and large stick and Arabic luminous hour markers. The strap is in leather, and fitted with a brushed stainless PVD treated buckle personalized with the Panerai signature. The crown is sealed via the patented Panerai locking device; this feature in combination with the thick screw-locked steel caseback enables the watch to achieve a 300 meter water resistance level. There are 1000 numbered watches available worldwide.

In terms of movement, the collection revolves around the Solar Navigation System, a unique and exclusive navigation system. It is during an exploration to the North Pole that Jorgen Amundsen (great great nephew of Roald Amundsen and Creative Director of Villemont) had the idea of incorporating a navigation system into a watch, which enables one to easily locate the cardinal points according to the position of the sun.

The Artic Navigation System by Villemont is the latest model of the AMUNDSEN collection. It is proposed in an extra-red gold and black-coated titanium case as well as in black-coated titanium, and in steel and black-coated titanium. This sportive timepiece houses a self-winding chronograph.

Its bi-directional rotating bezel allows its owner to find the cardinal points (indicated on the inner bezel) at any time. In daylight by simply positioning the hour on the 24h scale of the bi-directional bezel towards the hour hand, the wearer will immediately know where the sun sits at that precise time. For example, at 5 am, the sun sits in the North-East.

At night, a drawing of the stars on the back will help him to find his North. In the Northern hemisphere, the North Star (Ursula Major) points at north and in the Southern hemisphere, the Southern Cross will help him to find the South.

It is the many distinctive details which give this commemorative model its unique flavor; the blue dial and strap, both accented with red, evoke the national colors of France--the country which Zidane played 108 times for over a twelve year interval. Turning the timepiece over reveals an intricately detailed caseback which showcases an engraved portrait of the athlete and his signature, along with a circular designation for the model name, and the inscriptions "Zinédine Zidane", and "World Championship 1998". Additionally, a small engraving opposite the serial number shows the numbered edition.
