Considering last year's incredible success of the Ballon Bleu, shows marked by his eccentric cabochon, Cartier has decided to present last spring a new version of its model, with a whirlwind. Ballon Bleu Tourbillon Volant and in between the landscape of haute horlogerie, proudly bearing the stamp of Hallmark Geneva.

Here is another cool watch from Cartier which is part of the Richemont Group. I usually prefer staineless steel or titanium over gold, but this gold and black combination looks great. The stainless steel version retails for $5600, so I would guess the gold version is at least a couple thousand more. The Pasha Seatimer has a 42.5 mm case with a sapphire dial and caseback. The bezel and the bracelet have black ceramic accents, and the pushers and crown have black cabochons that add the finishing touch to this beautiful timepiece.

The new Cartier Ballon Bleu watches range from $4,950 to $46,000, and there is even a limited edition version the sells for $950,000. The sapphire cabochon crown is what gives this watch its distinctive look and name.
