Here are some shots of the new Suunto Core wristwatch line. These new watches are arguably some of the best looking watches Suunto has ever produced. They still have all the typical Suunto functions like an altimeter, barometer, compass, stopwatch, countdown timer and now they look good too. These two watches cost about $250, and if you hit the jump you will see a couple shots of the $600 staineless steel version.

The new Suunto Lumi Terra is the first Suunto watch just for women. It has an altimeter, barometer and compass like most of the Suunto lineup. It also has a sunset and sunrise function and a personal day counter. To appeal to women they make it in ten different strap colors. It costs between $300-$350 and will be available September 1 2007 at Suunto.

Here is the new Suunto D9 Dive Computer watch. It looks even better with the titanium bracelet.

The Suunto D9 is the world's first dive computer to incorporate a digital compass. The compass shows the general direction with a graphical compass rose, as well as the exact bearing with a numerical display. Headings can be stored in Suunto D9's memory for later analysis. The compass can naturally be used on land too.

The Suunto X9i GPS wristwatch computer now integrates with Google Earth using the PC link. You can download your GPS data for some very cool Google Earth visuals. This watch already has an altimeter, thermometer, compass and barometer and now it adds the awesome Google Earth integration. The watch may not be beautiful but it is the world's smallest GPS wristwatch that can prove to be a valuable tool to many people. For example my friend uses this watch in the field while he is on duty in Iraq to easily calculate his position for air support and route assistance.
