Here is a new Patek Philippe Aquanaut with a black dial and a new exclusive Aquanaut pattern. This one costs around $10,000. It has a "Tropical" strap with a folding steel clasp emobssed with
Patek Philippe's Calatrava Cross emblem. This strap was developed exclusively for the Aquanaut line, and is made of more than 20 materials. It is an ideal strap for aquatic sports because it cannot be ruined by salt water or extreme temperatures. It is also highly resistant to stress and ultraviolet raditation. It has even been tested by the FDA and is hypo-allergenic. Patek Phillipe even makes matching rings as I posted earleir this year here.

The Patek Phillipe Titanium Nautilus Limited Edition pictured above was auctioned at the 2007 ONLY WATCH charity event for close to $750,000. The Patek was the highest earner of 35 brands that donated high-end limited edition and protype watches to be sold through Antiquorum. The other brands include:Omega, Piaget, IWC, Harry Winston, Richard Mille with Philippe Starck, Blancpain, De Bethune, Breguet, Vacheron Constantin, Jaquet Droz, Louis Vuitton, Franck Müller, Pierre Kunz, Chopard, Zenith, Hublot, Frédérique Constant, Daniel Roth, Audemars Piguet, Rodolphe, Swatch, Officine Panerai, Ulysse Nardin, Girard-Perregaux, Eterna, Dewitt, Jaeger-Lecoultre, Mauboussin, Corum, Glasshütte Original, Instruments & Mesures du Temps, deLaCour, Gerald Charles and Van Cleef & Arpels. The event raised a total of over $3.8 million dollars. All the proceeds from the Only Watch 2007 charity event went to benefit research for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

No word on price, but here are some new Aquanaut Luce Rings by watchmaker Patek Philippe. They are made of white gold and come plain or with diamonds. The rings also feature interchangeable rubber inserts in the same pattern and colors as the straps of the Aquanaut Luce watch collection. This new limited edition masterpiece from Patek Philippe is made from 950 platinum, which by its' nature is much harder to work with than gold or steel. The result is a heavy timepiece that has a color few other watches will ever have. The bezel is studded with 36 baguette diamonds that are each the flawless rare white Top Wessleton kind that total four carats. The solid platinum case comes with two casebacks: a solid-platinum back and a sapphire-crystal caseback. A shiny black alligator strap is used along with a platinum prong buckle with six baguette diamonds. The dial is black with diamond hour markers. No word on price, but a classical Patek Philippe timepiece with flawless diamonds and pure platinum like this must cost at least half a million dollars.

Antiquorum’s summer auction, held at The New York Timezone, obtained the extraordinary sum of $8,586,583. The highlight of the sale was lot 289, a Patek Philippe Ref. 5002 which sold for $ 1,240,400; a record for a wristwatch in the United States.

This is one nice looking Patek Philippe ladies' watch. The Calatrava Travel Time has two time zones, white or pink gold, diamonds around the bezel, a white leather strap with a white dial and two chrono dials. Please read the full article over at Europastar.

Here is one of Patek's hot new wristwatches. What do you think of this watch? Would you pay over 30 grand for this bad boy? If so could you actually afford it? I will be honest I would pay it if I had it.

Kronosblog

According to Kronosblog.com, this specific Patek Philippe Nautilus model is one of the rarest of them all. I guess the 3712 model is more rare than the 5712, although I am sure there are many Patek watches that are more rare.

I like the very simple design of this new Patek Philippe Nautilus 5980 Chronograph. Too bad this watch probably costs at least $20,000. Patek makes very nice watches, but they are at the upper end of the watch market.
