I have really been wanting a nice 47 mm Nixon 51-30. I was thinking about buying one and taking it to the watch shop by my house to get the case polished to a shiny finish. Barneys New York is one step ahead of me and has produced a few versions of limited edition 51-30s. The watch pictured above is the All Black 51-30 and includes a hemp wristband. Not sure how much they cost but the All Black model is limited to 150 pieces, so expect to pay a premium.

Nixon makes some very cool watches for very affordable prices. The new 51-30 is a perfect example, it is only $300 with a rubber strap and $400 with a stainless steel bracelet. This model may be their most professional model yet. It has a Swiss movement, it is 300m water resistant and it even has an analog tide function. The only downside is that it has a hardened mineral crystal that looks like it may be prone to scratches, especially as big as this watch is at 47mm wide.
Nixon has been featuring skull-print Rotologs exclusively at Barney's New York in recent months but now they stepped it up a carat. These are encrusted with 764 white diamonds and 1,087 black diamonds for the skull pattern, a stainless steel case, Japanese Quartz movement and LED lamp for lighting the spinning disc display.
Here is one of many awesome watches from the huge collection that is available from Nixon. I really like their watches and so do many extreme sports fanatics such as snowboarders and skaters. They are so popular that they have expanded their new Elite line into the thousand dollar range. I am impressed with this brand and I will be buying at least one very soon.
