Breitling Superocean Heritage

The new Breitling Superocean Heritage watches have woven steel bracelets and unidirectional rotating bezels with a 120-tooth system with a fluted profile for easy handling. Too bad these watches from one of my favorite watch makers, are so plain and boring.

Comments

Looks like a cross between Stowa Seatime and an Omega Planet Ocean. Not very impressive.

I agree they are nothing special at all.

I like the fact that these are simple looking. Breitlings usually are way too bulky for my wrist. This one should fit my wrist just perfect.

These are awesome watches, too bad those comments are from people who either can't afford them or don't appreciate fine instruments

Just got it today. Bronze with folding beautiful brown claps. This is 50 yrs special edition. This is not ordinary model yr. Very nice. First one sold in Canada (La Swiss- Bloor/Toronto). Simple elegant , very distinct bronse dial. I can imagine my self with my short/golf shirt,in outdoor , sun reflecting on the face..ooh...very smart and classy. Thanks Breitling for classy simple design.

I recently picked one up and they are truly outstanding. I have the bronze model with the leather straps. The beauty of this watch cannot be realistically appreciated by looking at the picture. I saw this watch in both Lausanne and in Geneva. It is large, simple, elegant, and truly classic. In contrast to the other Breitling designs that tend to be complex and busy, this one shows the power of simplicity. Like Ed, I have to say to Breitling -- "good job."

Breitling has an excellent marketing department and the phrase, "simple is elegant" is in this new design. This performs the function of the watch, "show time elegently, sturdy without the bulk, and easy to wear". This is a superb product that should reward the user and the factory.

I have a chrono avenger and tried this one on today. I was really impressed with the size as i like bigger watches and the woven steel bracelet looks great in person. the steel definately gives it that classic look.

I too recently came upon this beautiful watch. Very understated yet extremely elegant this watch caught my eye the moment I walked by the showcase. I bought the first one sold in Edmonton. The bracelet is simply stunning too. Way to go Breitling!

anyone any experience with the rubber bracelet? i am hesitant how it'll feel in hot weather.

Had no plan to buy this one until I saw it on the display. Already have two models and can't have reasons for not buying this one.

Had the opportunity to take a look at this watch when i went in to have my omega seamaster fixed. the watch is amazing and would definitely buy one. like the leather band.

Plain and boring? It's the only good looking Breitling I've ever seen!

I just bought a bronze face with a classic woven band. I love the look of this watch, the 46mm looks nice and stylish on my wrist. The band looks unique and cool. Very comfortable..bronze gives it a new fashion for today's watch. Simple and elegance are the only two words that can describe this watch.

Nice. I am glad you like it. If I had my pick I would go with the Breitling Blackbird, but either way you cannot go wrong with a Breitling.
