Hamilton Ventura

I really like Hamilton wristwatches and they have some great models like their Khaki watches. I especially like the Khaki chrono that was made in Limited Edition for the movie S.W.A.T. Unfortunately I cannot say that I like this particular model, as the look is weird.

Here is a new Hamilton watch to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its Ventura model. The design is very similar to the world’s very first electric watch and is powered with by a quartz movement with the same case as the 1957 model. The case is made of stainless steel with a very original crown and apertures to reveal the movement. It has got sapphire crystal and is water resistant up to 30/ 50 meters. The black crocodile strap gives it modern look.

Comments

I know this was posted quite a while ago, but I just found it. The watch shown and commented on is the new Hamilton Ventura 50th Anniversary Automatic, not the quartz. The quartz edition, which is truer to the concept of the Ventura as the first battery operated "electric" watch is a different item.
