TAG Heuer Monaco Vintage Limited Edition
TAG Heuer's new Monaco Vintage Limited Edition. This watch has a decent look and I think the Monaco is their best line of watches.
First immortalized on Steve McQueen’s wrist in the 1970 racing film, Le Mans, the original Monaco, with its big, squared-off case and truly avant-garde Chronomatic Calibre 11—the first chronograph movement with an automatic micro-rotor mechanism—is a mythical icon of modern watchmaking history.
TAG Heuer’s all-new vintage version sports a powerful design true to the revolutionary spirit of the original: black dial with orange and blue stripes, vintage “GULF” logo at 6 o’clock and matching black alligator strap with orange stitching. This stunning piece is a tribute to the Porsche-Gulf 917K racecar in the movie Le Mans.
The legendary Porsche 917-Gulf K, one of the most celebrated automobiles in motor racing, was only produced from 1969 to 1973. Equipped with a 600+ horsepower, 5-litre engine and capable of speeds up to 362 km/h, its success surpassed all expectations, winning Le Mans in 1970 and 1971 and setting a record that holds to this day: 5,335km at an average of 222 km/h. Its unique design and orange and blue colors, make this racecar an unforgettable dream machine.
To give added authenticity to the Porsche 917 Gulf driving scenes in the movie, McQueen insisted on wearing the Monaco chronograph because the just-out chronograph was considered the most authentic car-racing watch on the circuit. A sport and glamour legend was born...
The edgy new Monaco Vintage is equally authentic and iconic. Launched this year in a limited edition of 4,000 pieces, it is destined to become another cult classic that will appeal to racing purists and lovers of strong, disruptive design.

For the Cartier go here: http://www.cartier.com/ and contact them, they will ask for the serial numbers on the back of the watch. On the Geneva watch it would be best to contact an auction house as I do not know a lot about this brand.
Best Regards

I just got mine #2592 in St Lucia, W.I. I paid $2800 after some negotiating. It's giving my Rolex Daytona a heck of a run for my favorite watch in the drawer... Get it while you can!

I just bought #1216 of 4000. I have several watches that I like to wear, not all expensive though. I buy what I like, and I loved this watch. I have a team jacket to match...same colors, team patches, etc...looks great. I got my watch in Georgia. I've been to several of the major watch dealers in the state since, including Tourneau, and can not find another one. This will be a difficult watch to find. If you want one, and know where one is, then you better buy it now!
