TAG Heuer Monaco Vintage Limited Edition

TAG Heuer

TAG Heuer's new Monaco Vintage Limited Edition. This watch has a decent look and I think the Monaco is their best line of watches.

First immortalized on Steve McQueen’s wrist in the 1970 racing film, Le Mans, the original Monaco, with its big, squared-off case and truly avant-garde Chronomatic Calibre 11—the first chronograph movement with an automatic micro-rotor mechanism—is a mythical icon of modern watchmaking history.

URWERK 201 Blackshark

urwerk_blackshark__.jpg

This is the new URWERK 201 Blackshark.

Kronosclub says,

"Just like the 103 the 201 will have a Platinum PVD'ed version. This "thing" sends shivers down my spine. At this point I don't know if I am just biased or what ever the guys at URWERK come out with I just think is awesome. I wish there is a more "affordable" URWERK in the future. I told Felix many times that a 102 in PVD'ed steel and a price tag under 10K would be a real killer.

Oakley Judge Stealth Black

Oakley

Another cool Oakley watch that is a bit overpriced at $650. The stealth black agressive look with stopwatch functionality is nice.

The difference between an ordinary stopwatch and a true chronograph is the precision of 10-jewel Swiss Movement. This intuitive design features a sub dial for logging minutes and hours, plus a sweeping second hand that accelerates to the current moment when pause is released. Surgical stainless steel forms the durable case.

Oakley Blade II

I have to admit I really like Oakley watches, or at least some of them. In my opinion this is one of their better designs, however the Blade II version appears to be the same as the first Blade watch. I think all they did was change the colors a bit and raise the price. If they ever want to earn my business they are gonna have to give one to me for free or lower their prices. Like I said before I really like their watches, but I cannot see paying $550 for an Oakley Blade II or an Oakly Blade I. What is even worse is the other two models I like, the Judge and the Chronograph models, cost even more.
